SUBJECT: Advisory Committee for Medical Research Program

In re our conversations of the past two weeks about the above 
topics, I would be very grateful if you would appoint two 
representatives in the Chemistry Division to make this committee 
official. As has been discussed, we would meet with the entire 
Medical Research Group twice a month to review the work which has 
been done and to discuss plans for the future. I would suggest that 
the first meeting be held on Friday, 1 September 1944 and thereafter 
the fifteenth and first of every month, if this is agreeable with you.

I am enclosing Don Mastick's summary of the proposed Research 
Program written on 23 August 1944. I sorry to have delayed sending 
this to you.
