TAB C-2 Biographical Sketches (New staff/consultants as of February 21, 1995) SARAH FLYNN Editor Sarah Flynn has been a freelance developmental editor since 1988, working closely with authors of fiction and non fiction. She is also co-author, with Henry Hampton and Steve Fayer, of Voices of Freedom: An Oral History of the Civil Rights Movement from the 1950s through the 1980s (Bantam, 1990), a companion volume to the 14-part television series Eyes on the Prize. Ms. Flynn's career in publishing began in 1969 with Transaction magazine, and has included five years at Boston's Real Paper and six years with the trade division of Houghton Mifflin Company. She attended Sarah Lawrence College and is a graduate of Livingston College, Rutgers University. MICHAEL D. JASNY, J.D. Editorial Assistant Michael D. Jasny received his Juris Doctorate from Harvard University and his undergraduate degree from Yale College. At Harvard, he concentrated on human rights law, serving on the editorial board of the Harvard Human Rights Journal, editing a book on social and economic rights theory, and traveling abroad on fellowship to study penitentiary reform. Before joining the Advisory Committee staff, he worked at The New Leader, a progressive biweekly publication on politics and the arts. His career plans involve wilderness conservation and literary scholarship.
