Dear Frank:

We have noted in the November 29 Baltimore Sun the enclosed story
about 12 Arizona State prison convicts volunteering to undergo
medical experiments.  The story was credited to the AP and
datelined Florence, Arizona.

We would appreciate your calling to the attention of the AP point
of origin of this story that the medical research project referred
to is not an Atomic Energy Commission project.  The AEC not only
does not sponsor this particular project but it also has never
sponsored a medical research project where human beings are used
for experimental purposes.
