RE: 	  Risk Estimates: Preliminary Timeline of Occupational Dose
	  Limits

     At the request of Committee members, the staff has begun
compiling a timeline of basic changes in fundamental exposure
standards.  A preliminary version and accompanying graph are
attached.

     Please keep in mind that the timeline is intended primarily
to present the changes which were made, without in depth
discussion of why they were made.

     Also keep in mind that the actual application of the
standards involved many points of detail not presented in the
timeline.

     Sources of the information are provided at the end of the
timeline.
