Reference is made to your memorandum dated 3 January 1950 and to the attached inclosure dated 3 October 1949 from the Chief, Chemical Corps Research and Engineering Division. 2. The Armed Forces Policy Council is in the process of formulating Department of Defense policy in regard to public releases on various methods of unconventional warfare, including radiological.
