Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments PUBLIC READING ROOM The Advisory Committee maintains a public reading room in its offices at 1726 M Street, N. W., Washington, D. C. The reading room is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The public reading room has available all of the information included in this gopher: o background information; o copies of the agendas, briefing books, transcripts and minutes for all Advisory Committee meetings; o information on the research collection, experiment collection, and publications collection; and o Interim Report of the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments. In addition to these items, the public reading room has the following information not available in this gopher: o agency histories and meeting records; o congressional hearings and reports; and o copies of documents submitted by the public at Advisory Committee meetings. Advisory Committee staff will help members of the public identify materials that have been supplied by Federal agencies as part of the Advisory Committee's investigation, but Federal records are available from the depositing agencies only. Staff will help identify where such documents are available. Facilities for reproduction are limited in the Advisory Committee offices. Members of the public who wish copies of documents available in the public reading room may request copies from the Advisory Committee staff. Depending upon work load, the copies may be available at that time, or it may be necessary to return for them.
